Hotel Under The Sea!

1,200 Square Feet Under the Sea

View of one of the most vibrant coral reefs on Earth, book a room at the world's first underwater hotel

Bruce Jones has spent much of his career designing underwater toys for the rich and famous. The 50-year-old president of U.S. Submarines is best known for building ultra luxe custom subs, $80-million vessels that feature private staterooms, paneled interiors made from exotic hardwoods, plush carpeting, and enough on board oxygen to keep you and 10 friends breathing easy for three weeks of cruising at depths of nearly 1,000 feet. Now Jones is redirecting his expertise in undersea opulence toward the hotel industry. His plan: to open the Poseidon Mystery Island, the world’s first major resort at the bottom of the ocean, by September 2008.

“When I was in high school, I was always writing letters to Jacques Cousteau and sketching underwater habitats,” Jones recalls. In 2000, he took the first step toward the real thing, offering a reward to whomever found the best location for his futureundersea playground. “I’ve got a lot of friends in the submersible business who are also scuba divers,” he says. “So I put the word out that if someone came up with the perfect spot, we’d pay them $10,000.” A business associate and avid diver suggested a reef off the Bahamian island of Eleuthera and collected his reward. But Jones eventually ran into trouble negotiating a price for the site with its American owners. After a year of fruitless back-and-forth, he decided to set his sights farther afield, on Fiji.

Scrubs

"Scrubs" focuses on the strange experiences of Dr. John "J.D." Dorian (Zach Braff, "Garden State"), a medical resident, as he continues on his healing career in a surreal hospital crammed full of unpredictable staffers and patients -- where humor and tragedy can merge paths at any time.
Joining the rumpled J.D. at Sacred Heart Hospital are fellow residents Chris Turk (Donald Faison, "Remember the Titans," "Felicity") -- J.D.'s college buddy who is part of the more elite surgical group -- and the beautiful but socially awkward Elliot Reid (Sarah Chalke, "Roseanne").
Keeping a watchful eye over these young doctors are the caustic chief of medicine, Dr. Bob Kelso (Ken Jenkins, "Courage Under Fire"), the abrasive but caring Dr. Perry Cox (John C. McGinley, "Wall Street," "Platoon"), and no-nonsense nurse Carla Espinosa (Judy Reyes, "Oz"). Neil Flynn ("Magnolia") the hospital janitor, portrays J.D.'s nemesis who never seems to miss an opportunity to harass his target.
"Scrubs," received four Emmy Award nominations in 2005, including one for Outstanding Comedy Series. Zach Braff has received an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Actor in a Comedy Series and two Golden Globe nominations for his portrayal of "J.D.".
In its debut season, "Scrubs" was nominated for two Emmy Awards and a People's Choice Award. In 2004 "Scrubs" was a winner of a prestigious Humanitas Prize; beginning in that same year, the series was nominated for three consecutive a Producers Guild Awards 2004-2006. "Scrubs" is produced by Touchstone Television. Bill Lawrence ("Spin City") is the executive producer and creator.

All Over Stephen Colbert

The Colbert Report is to personality-driven pundit shows. Colbert brings his sarcastic charm to a half-hour report, tackling the important issues of the day and telling his guests why their opinions are just plain wrong.
If you don't already watch The Colbert Report, it's a definite must see show! His view on politics(when he is being serious) is something that i think everyone must consider, not only is he flipping hilarious but his input is very valid. Mostly I like him because of the way he butchers the Presidency and US government.

The Terrible Transition

Majority of people are going back to school on Monday, i no lots who have all ready started mostly people from university and grant mac. its not that i don't want to go back its that i havn't done anything productive during the break. Don't get me wrong i sometimes hate school but its time for a change i think. Tons of people are probably regretting tomorrow, but i personally am kinda glad, because i'm getting tired of waking up at 3 everyday and sleeping at 5.
