1990 Acura Integra GS (DA)
Recent interior work. (getting tired of doing the rebuild at the moment...)
My pioneer Z2 was sitting to low and i decided to put it at eye level. this of course meant i had to once again tear apart my dash, remove the heater control unit and relocate it in the glovebox. Thankfully i didnt have many wires to extend. stock height was just enough!
After the heater unit was relocated (minus the control switch for heat adjustment) i cut out the entire heater vent and blocked the blower entry point (dont want the deck to get hot).
After all that (2.5 hours...) i trimmed the factory dash trim and just threw the deck inside to see how it would look. this ISNT the final product...obviously... i have some abs plastic ill use for a dash kit and tidy everything up soon...

Cut a hole in the glove box...

Removed the heater vent
I basically had to cut it into several pieces in order to remove it...very annoying...
Ill eventually mount the heater unit at the top of the glove box...

with a tiny trimming it should look decent afterwords...

Annd....where the deck use to be it where im gonna mount my boost guage, wideband O2 sensor, and several switches(fuel pump, clutch kill, main 12v power(for the future push start), and my pioneer bypass switch)
On the left of the deck i might retrofit either more guages or make a custom holder for my iphone.
