Taking Apart The Block

Remove the two dowels from the head

Remove the water pump.

Remove remaining sensors, mine only had 1, but they can have up to three in that area.

Turn her upside down, and remove the oil pan. 19 10mm bolts.

Replace oil pan gasket, and oil pan if severely dented.

Remove 8 13mm main cap bolts.

Remove gently.

Remove rear oil seal cover

Remove oil pump

Gently remove all bearings.

Mark, Label order of caps.

Remove 2 thrust bearings, second opening from oil seal plate (left)

Remove all caps, bearings, etc

Push pistons through wall slowly until they come out the head

Cam removal, head removal

Remove cam caps, longer bolts in the middle, shorter towards the end.

Remove gear as a whole, store on end.
